Conducting Fire Drill for 2023 Fall Semester

We will conduct simulated Fire & Evacuation drill for 2023 Fall semester. All residents should be participate this fire & evacuation drill as mandatory. For All residents’ safety, We are asking your cooperation and participation. If you are not participate, you will get 2 points of penalty. 

 

1. Fire drill schedule and location

 

The time required: within 40 min.

Detail of Fire drill

-Knowing fire escape way by each room and actual evacuation.

-How to use for fire extinguisher and hydrant.

Procedure

1)Check emergency exit route from your room and how to evacuate. Please listen carefully for evacuate

announcement.

 

2)Stay in each room until 16:55.

- During fire drill, Using the elevator is extremely dangerous. So, It will be stop from 16:50.

(From 16:55 to End of fire drill, entrance to dorm is not available. Please take note.)

 

3)When the fire alarm ring, cover nose and mouth with wet towel and run out from your room. (When you evacuate, keep your cell phone(or ID card) and room key)

 

4)After evacuate, There will be education for how to evacuate and use fire extinguisher. And we will check your attadance.

*Please take note that Only residents who actually evacuated from dorm and gathered to the evacuation site are counted as attendance.

 

How to check attandance (select 1)

1)Smartphone-download "SKKU Attendance" APP - check the attandance

2)Check the attandance with student ID card or mobile ID card(KINGO-M)

3)Hand writing

 

2. Acceptable reasons for not participating.

 

Fire drill is for all resident's safety. Fire drill will be conducted for 2 days. So you can select one. If you are not available for both 2 days, you can submit certification of reason. But, your personal reason is not acceptable except Class, Hospitalization or Staying overseas.

 

Where to submit : Shin-kwan A B1 floor Dorm office

How to submit: Bring the paper to the dorm office in person by Sep 15th(Extended) Sep 19th 17:00. (Email and Fax is not available)

Acceptable documents

1)Class time table (Should be printed from GLS)

2)Certification of hospitalization

3)Confirmation sheet of overseas stay
