Ui-gwan cafeteria and kitchen's overall renovation will be held during winter vacation period of 2016, as mentioned below.

◆ Construction period: Dec. 25, 2016.~ the end of February, 2017

◆ Ui-gwan cafeteria closing period: Dec. 24, 2016(Sat) Dinner ~ Feb. 25, 2017(Fri) Breakfast

◆ Constructed area: Ui-gwan cafeteria kitchen, Cafeteria hall

◆ Construction main contents

- Kitchen: Demolition of entire existing finishes, plumbing works, replacement of sewer pipe, ventilation system/lights/electrical panel board/electrical wiring, repainting work of ceilings and walls
- Hall: Replacement of tiles, wall paint and floor finishes.

◆ Student notice ★★★★★

1. Student who plans to apply and make a payment for dormitory for winter vacation, please take into consideration when you apply that Ui-gwan cafeteria will be under renovation.

2. In case you are not selected as the residents of your first preference such as In, Ui, Ye-gwan residents. Please keep in mind that your previous choice of meal plan will not be changed. Therefore check in advance in terms of applying and paying for the dormitory fee as well as the meal plan fee.

3. For students who were selected as In, Ui, Ye-gwan residents, your student ID card will be inputted to use the meal tickets at the Shin-gwan cafeteria. (Shin-gwan B access door will be opened)★★★

4. Please confirm carefully when you apply and make a payment for meal tickets since there is no opportunity of changing meal plan during the vacation period.

5. On it’s under renovation, inevitable noise and dust can caused due to a construction which happens during day time.

◆ FAQ

Q. Why renovating Ui-gwan cafeteria?

A. Currently Ui-gwan is the oldest among our dormitory buildings as well as the cafeteria and kitchen equipments. There are problems occurring constantly in the kitchen such as worn out of floor tiles, ventilation and drainage problems. Also decrepit facilities of electricity, gas, water supply leads to possibility of causing problems on safety and sanitation of cooking environment. Therefore, Ui-gwan cafeteria is inevitable for a renovation in order to find solutions for student’s safety and sanitation matter..

Cafeteria will be back with better performance of facility in the first semester of 2017.
