THE STOP OF THE COOLING SYSTEM AND THE START OF THE HEATING SUPPLY

We will stop to run the dormitory cooling system, and start to run its heating as follows:

1. The date and time of the end of the cooling service

- The Shin-gwan, In-gwan, and Ji-gwan : until 17:00, Thurs, Oct 15

- The Ui-gwan, and Ye-gwan : until 17:00, Sun, Oct 11

2. The date and time of the heating supply

- The Shin-gwan, In-gwan, and Ji-gwan : 20:00 ~ 06:00, every day starting from Mon, Oct 19

- The Ui-gwan, and Ye-gwan : 20:00 ~ 06:00, every day starting from Thurs, Oct 15

3. The heating-related information

- The Shin-gwan, In-gwan, and Ji-gwan have the central heating system, but the Ui-gwan, and Ye-gwan, the local heating system. During the period to stop the cooling, the mechanical preparatory period will be put, and after the test run, the heating will be supplied because it is impossible to run the cooling and heating simultaneously.

4. Matters to be considered when using the remote controller of the Ui-gwan, and Ye-gwan

- Please don’t fail to use the remote controller after changing its mode into the heating one.

- The use of automatic mode, and wind-sending and dehumidification functions may generally cause the system error. Therefore, you are advised to avoid to use it if available.

※ Points for your reference

- When there occurs some problem during the period for the heating system inspection, and the test run to supply the heating, in case of the relevant dormitory, the supply of heating may be delayed.

- Residents of some rooms facing the south of the Shin-gwan A and B-dongs may experience the high indoor temperature due to the stopped cooling operation during the daytime, So, the electric fan for the 4 person-4 room typed room will be temporarily provided.

- Regarding the problem occurring when shifting from the cooling to the heating, please submit it through the dorm homepage repair request section.
