APPLICATION FOR ONE-DAY EXTENSION OF THE CHECK-OUT DATE OF THIS SEMESTER
Regular check-out date of 2015 semester 2 : until noon, Dec 19 (Sat), 2015
The one day extension of the check-out date refers to the system that students satisfying the below requirements are allowed to check out until noon, Dec 20 (Sun).
1. Eligibility
(1) All students currently living at dormitory, and having completed the registration of winter vacation
(winter semester, its part/whole period) residence after its application.
(2) Students unable to check out until noon, the regular check-out date of semester 2.
As students who completed the whole courses cannot apply for the one-day extension, please visit the Dorm Office within the application period. (09:00-17:00)
2. Application and Registration Period : Dec 7 (Mon) ~ 16 (Wed), 2015
(when you fail to pay it, your registration is automatically cancelled.)
3. How to apply for and register (pay in) it
(1) It is possible to execute during the below application and registration period.
GLS → Application/Graduation Requirements Management → Dormitory → Dorm Info.
(2) From the menu, click “Extention app.” button beside the
residence record of Fall semester , 2015, then check the input content
(3) And next apply for it. At that time, the virtual bank account is immediately issued.
(4) Pay in your dorm fee though this account.
(5) With this, your application and registration are completed
4. How to check the result of your payment
(1) During the application and registration period, access the relevant menu as follows:
GLS → Application/Graduation Requirements Management → Dormitory → Dorm Info.
(2) Then, select the residence record of “2015-Fall Semester.” Finally, click the below tap“ [payment/refund].”

5. Matters to consider
(1) After the payment, it is impossible to cancel the application, or refund the paid money. So, please pay it in after a careful decision.
(2) When payment is not made within the scheduled period, your one day extension application is automatically cancelled.
(3) Although the extension fee has been paid, and it is the winter vacation period, dorm resident students are required to move in Sunday morning, Dec 20. (Moving on Dec 19, its previous day is not allowed.)
(4) Warning: Without one day extension application and registration, if you still occupy the ex-room after Saturday afternoon, Dec 19, you will get the relevant penalty points according to the dorm regulation,
and, with that, may be prohibited from residing in the dorm.
6. FAQ
(1) Why do I apply for the one day extension and pay its fee separately from the vacation or fall semester dorm fees?
- This application is a system for students who reside in the dorm during winter semester/vacation or can’t move out at the regular move-out date due to personal matters.
Accordingly, this system prevents most of students moving out at the regular date from paying additional fee by not adding it to the fall semester dorm fee. Further, as the regular vacation entrance date is Sunday, the one day extension means that the said fee is paid as the dorm fee of your residing one day more in the fall semester .
When your current dorm and vacation dorm are different, your dorm fee is changed. Therefore, it is not included in the vacation dorm fee, but you are required to apply for it and pay its fee separately.
(2) At the still "unpaid" state, I want to cancel my application. Please let me know the way.
-There is no method for cancellation, but in case of one day extension fee not being paid, your application is automatically cancelled (becomes invalid).
(3) I missed the timely application or payment during the scheduled period. Please let me know the way?
-There is no additional application or payment. So, you must move out of the room with all your baggages until Saturday noon, Dec 19. When residing during the winter vacation, it is possible to first move out, and then move in again after Sunday noon, Dec 20.
