Dormitory residence applications for 2023 Summer Vacation will be open as below. Please check attached admission information before applying.

※Please be informed that All information about dorm applying is on attached file. Please read carefully in order to avoid any problem caused by misunderstanding. 

■ Application Period

■ Select residential period

1) Whole Summer vacation: Jun. 10. 2023~Aug. 19. 2023 (70nights & 71days) 

2) Only for Summer semester: Jun. 10. 2023~Jul. 1. 2023 (21nights & 22days)

■ Select Room type

* Shin-kwan B is closed during Summer vacation.

* Shin-kwan A is for Graduate/Undergraduate student & Male/Female.

★Shin-kwan B will be closed during vacation. So all resident of Shin-kwan B need to move to Shin-kwan A★

■ Mandatory submit for Check-in 

1) New resident of Summer vacation need to submit TB test result. (Stay from spring semester continuously, No need to resubmit) 

2) No need to submit Covid-19 result. 

■ Notice

-If you apply only for summer semester, you could extend to whole period later. But, there might be possibility of changing the room. And if there is no vacancy, you can’t extend.

-Freshman of 2023 spring semester can't applyh for dormmate. 

-When you apply for dormmate, all applicants should select same schedule. 

-During vacation, Part of buildings or floors will be used due to energy-saving, room cleaning, and maintenance. so most students must be assigned to a new room and move.

-Freshman for Graduated student of 2023 Fall semester can’t apply for the dorm. But if there is vacancy after 1st and 2nd selection, they also can apply for the dorm. (But, graduating student who has undergraduate student’s ID can apply for dorm.)

*Extension of check-out for 2023 Spring semester is not available.

☎In case of application period, there are many inquiries, so the waiting time may be long or difficult to call. Please read ‘admission information’ carefully before you ask us.

Q. I wanted to apply for the whole vacation, but I mistakenly only applied for the summer semester (or vice-versa). We are still in the application period. How can I change my application?

A. You can’t apply for both the whole summer vacation or summer semester. So you have to cancel your first application and re-apply for the correct period. In the application menu, select "List of applications" and click "Modify application". Click the "Cancel application" button in the bottom right. Then on the application schedule you should re-apply by choosing the correct period and clicking "Apply for admission".

Q. I missed the first application period. What should I do?

A. There is a second application period. For a detailed schedule, please check the attached general information.

Q. Which semester's GPA are used for selection during the vacation?

A. We only consider your most recent GPA (usually fall semester, 2022). However, summer and winter semester grades are not considered. When you apply, the "Check personal information" tab will display your previous semester's grades. You can re-check this in the application window. Freshman will be assigned randomly.
