Dormitory Admission for 2021-Summer Vacation

The Check-out date of 2021-Spring semester is June. 5(Sat) (by noon)
***[No extension on your check-out day without Checkout date extension Application in advance]
 
1. Residence Period
■ Summer Semester: Jun.05(Sat) 15:00 ~ Jun.26(Sat) 12:00
■ Whole Summer Vacation: Jun.05(Sat) 15:00 ~ Aug.21(Sat) 12:00
=> You can't change your check-out date to other date.
=> After closed your application, you can't modify your application information.
=> You can NOT change your residence period from [Whole Summer vacation] to [Summer Semester] after closed your application.
=> All applicants of [Summer Semester] can extend your residence periods to [Whole Summer vacation]. (There will be additional application period which you can extend residence period from Summer Semester to whole summer vacation. The room could be changed).
=>Summer Vacation Official Checkout date: Direct management dorms -Aug.21.(Sat) / Spring Semester Official Checkout date: Leased building dorms-Aug.24.(Tue)
2. Application and Payment periods
■ The 1st application Period : May.11.(Tue) 11:00 ~ May.17.(Mon) 23:00 [on GLS]
■ Announcement and Registration (Payment):  May.21.(Fri) 11:00 ~ May.24.(Mon) 23:00 
 (You should check your payment information on GLS)
■ The 2nd Application period: May.25.(Tue) 11:00 ~ May.26.(Wed) 23:00 (on GLS)
■ Announcement and Registration(Payment): May.28.(Fri) 11:00 ~ May.31.(Mon) 23:00
(Check your payment information individually on GLS. In case of un-payment, your application should be cancelled automatically)
 Room allotment: Jun.03.(Thu) 11:00 (on GLS)
Spring Semester Official Check-out date & Summer Vacation Official Check-in date: Jun.05.(Sat)
3. Method
 Visit [SKKU homepage] - Login [KINGO ID] - Click on [GLS-Application/Requirements Management]- Apply for your dorm on [Dormitory Application] - [Select period] on Application and Fill in all check boxes, then [Submit] - Check your dormitory application status on GLS finally[Dorm info.]
4. Dormitory
■ Male Student: E(A)-House
                              General Student(Single Room)      00 persons
                              General Student(Double Room)   000 persons 
■ Female Student: K-House                       
                              General Student(Single Room)        0 persons
                              General Student(Double Room)      0 persons 

 The number of capacity for each room type may be changed depending on the number of applicants. And due to the COVID-19 Social Distancing Alert Level, the dormitory fee associated with Single-room operation, and operating dormitory buildings can be changed.

■ C/E(B)/G/I/M-house will be closed during Summer Vacation due to facility inspection. 
■ Leased building dormitory residence period is from Mar. to Aug. Therefore, in case of vacancy, we will additionally recruit new residents, contact Housing Office if you want to apply for it.

■ Eligibility for dormmate application is that the current registered students who didn’t receive dormitory penalty points during ‘2021-previous semester+vacation’. (*In case of 2021-Spring semester New students, you can NOT apply for it until Summer Vacation)

5. Notes for all applicants

■ Dormitory application does not work on a first-come, first-served basis.
■ The number of 100% dormitory capacity will be selected during the first application period. The second round will be operated in case of having vacancy rooms with cancellation after the first round of selection.
■ You must submit 'Tuberculosis test result (tested after April 2021) and COVID19 (PCR) test result (only which is allowed the test within 5 days before your actual checkin date)' sheets on your check-in date. You cannot enter SKKU dorm on that day without the result papers.
 As a Spring semester resident, if you keep staying during summer vacation continuously, only tuberculosis testing (after February 2021.02) shall be allowed. In other words, if the submitted document is the result of the 2021.01 examination, it should be re-examined and then must submit the updated new one.

■ To prevent the spread of COVID-19, all dormitory residents should take a body temperature measurement when going in and out. Should wear a mask when using dormitory communal areas.

■ This ‘Summer Vacation’ period, you can use meal tickets after purchasing(4,000KRW) directly (by debit or credit card only) from a vending machine in E-zipbob without applying for meal coupon application.
■ No Shuttle Bus Service during Vacation periods

■ In case of un-payment , your application will be cancelled automatically, so, all applicants make sure to check the payment duedate and pay for it in time.

■ After payment, it is necessary to check whether your payment is fully completed.
■ The room will be assigned from high floors(Top-down) and from A to B room type of E(A)-house.
■ Two of single rooms in 'E-House (Main building) and K-house' each, for the disabled, and if eligible people don't apply for it, we will accept general students for these rooms.

■ If you enter S.Korea from abroad, you must conduct for 2 weeks self-quarantine in other accommodation. After your quarantine ends, you can checkin SKKU dormitory. You should show us boarding pass, passport and submit Tuberculosis test result(2021.April~) sheet, and COVID19(PCR) test result(examined within 5 days 4nights before your actual check-in date) paper. SKKU dormitory(Housing office) does not offer quarantine accommodation for summer vacation residents separately.

6. Notes for Spring semester's residents 
■ In case your room is changed, you must move into your next changed room on Jun. 05 (Moving hours: 13:00 ~ 15:00 on Jun 05(Sat))
■ All residents must submit [Check-out list of Spring semester: 퇴사확인서] and [Check-in list of Summer periods: 입사확인서]on your GLS. If you do not submit it you can receive penalty points. Even if your room is not changed, you should also submit it.
■ There are no check-in procedures with students who are assigned same room with Spring semester.
You should just submit [Check-in list: 입사확인서/ Check-out list: 퇴사확인서] on your GLS.
And You should Keep your room clean before leaving and checkout because the Resident Assistants(R.A.) will check your room in the afternoon on Jun.05.(Sat).
