The official dormitory check-out date of 2021-Fall semester is Dec.11.(Sat) (by noon) [No extension of Check-out, If late checkout, you will get penalty points(15).]
1. Residence Period
■ Winter Semester : 2021.Dec.11.(Sat) 15:00 ~ 2022.Jan.01.(Sat) by noon(12:00) [21nights 22days]
■ Whole Winter Vacation : 2021.Dec.11.(Sat) 15:00 ~ 2022.Feb.12.(Sat) by noon [63nights 64days]
- You cannot change your check-out date to other date. That is, after closed your application, you cannot modify your application information.
- You can NOT change your residence period from [Whole Winter Vacation] to [Winter Semester] after closed your application.
- All applicants of [Winter Semester] can extend your residence period to [Whole Winter Vacation].
***(There will be Additional Application period which you can extend residence period from [Winter Semester] to [Whole Winter vacation]. The room could be changed.)
2. Application and Payment periods
<1st Round>
■ 1st application period: Nov.16.(Tue) 11:00 ~ Nov.22.(Mon) 23:00 [on GLS in person]
■ Announcement and registration(Payment): Nov.26.(Fri.) 11:00 ~ Nov.28.(Sun.) 23:00
*** Check your payment information indicidually on GLS. In case of un-payment, your application should be canceled automatically.
<2nd Round>
■ 2nd application period: Nov.29.(Mon) 11:00 ~ Nov.30.(Tue) 23:00 [on GLS individually]
■ Announcement and registration(Payment): Dec.03.(Fri) 11:00 ~ Dec.06.(Mon) 23:00
*** Check your payment information indicidually on GLS. In case of un-payment, your application should be canceled automatically.
<Room allotment announcement>
■ Dec.10.(Fri) 17:00 ( -> changed 11:00) ~ [on GLS]
3. How to apply
■ After logging in with your ID to Kingo portal, you are able to register for your dormitory application on GLS.
4. Dormitory
■ E(A)/E(B)/K-House
■ The number/gender/room type of actual applicants can change in the recruitment dormitory information depending on the situation of COVID19.
■ C/G/I/M-house will be closed during winter vacation.
■ 'Leased building dormitory(Crownville/LWG/Victory house)' residence period of Fall Semester is from 2021.Sep. to 2022.Feb.. It means, Fall Semester residents(of leased building dorms) keep living in the same dorm until Feb.. Therefore, in case of having vacancy, we will additionally recruit new residents. Please refer to <Dormitory website-'Notice'-'Waiting List'>
■ 2021-Fall semester freshmen and exchange students can NOT apply for DORMMATE. Only registered students (or students on leave of absence) who did not receive 'dormitory penalty points' during 2021-Fall semester can apply for DORMMATE.
5. Notes for 'All applicants'
■ During winter vacation, C/G/I/M-house will be closed to have facility inspections. If fall semester residents keep staying in dorms continuosly, you must move to your next changed room (of E(A), E(B) or K-house) on Dec.11.(Sat)
■ Dormitory application is NOT running on a first come, first-served basis.
■ At the 1st application period, 100% of dormitory capacity will be selected. After 1st selection, the 2nd round of recruitment will be conducted only for vacant dorm due to cancellations.
■ Important
: Residents must submit Tuberculosis(TB) Test result sheet and COVID19(PCR) test result sheet when you check in the dorm. If NOT, you can NOT check in.
***'Normal' or ' Perfect' result on Tuberculosis(TB) examination, that was examined after 2021.Oct.01.~ , before your official check-in date(Dec.11.(Sat)), and 'Negative' result on COVID(PCR) test which is examined within 7 days(Dec. 04.(Sat) ~Dec.10.(Fri)) before your actual check-in date.
***Exceptionally, Students who keep staying from Fall semester continuously, you do NOT need to TB test result sheet again, however, you have to submit a new COVID19(PCR) test result sheet after re-examitation.
■ To prevent the spread of COVID19, all dorm residents should take a body temperature measurement when going in and out everytime. Should wear a mask when using dormitory communal areas.
6. Notes for 'Fall semester residents'
■ If your room is changed, you must move to your new room on Dec.11.(Sat) 15:00 ~.
■ All residents must submit [Check-out list of Fall semester: 퇴사확인서] on your GLS. If you do not submit it, you can get penalty points. Even if your Winter Vacation (or Winter Semester)room is not changed, you should also do it.
■ There will be a room inspection on your check out date, Dec.11.(Sat). Be sure to keep your room clean before leaving. The housing assistant(R.A.) will drop by each room to check in the afternoon on Dec.11.(Sat).
