5월 23일 (토), 예술의 전당 한가람미술관에서 봉룡학사와 함께 추상회화의 거장, 마크로스코 전시회를 관람하였습니다.

On May 23th (Sat), we saw Mark Rothko exhibition at Hangaram Hall in Seoul Arts Center with Bongryong-Haksa.

마크로스코는 한 작품당 500억원이 넘는 경매가를 기록하며, 현대미술계에서 가장 큰 주목을 받은 화가들 중의 한 명이죠.

스티브잡스의 디자인 철학에 영감을 준 것으로도 유명합니다.

미국 내셔널갤러리의 작품들을 대여한 이번 전시는 국내에서 보기힘든 대규모의 전시로, 많은 학생들이 관심을 가지고 신청해주셨습니다.

Mark Rothko is one of the most noteworthy painters in modern art world, whose auction pieces are recording more than 50 billion won each.

He is also known for inspiring the design philosophy of Steve Jobs.

This exhibition, which rents National Gallery galleries, is a large-scale exhibit that is difficult to see in Korea. Many students have applied with interest.

아쉽게도 전시관 내부 작품들은 촬영이 비허용되었습니다.

마크로스코의 초기 및 전성기 작품들과 생애 마지막 작품까지 육안으로 감상할 수 있는 뜻 깊은 시간이었습니다.

6월 28일까지 전시는 계속되니 미술에 관심있는 학생들은 이번 전시를 꼭 감상하시길 추천드려요~

Unfortunately taking pictures inside the exhibition is not allowed.

 It was a meaningful time to appreciate Macrosko's early and prestigious works and the last works of his life.
